POINT OF ORDER!
One of the first objectives of your newly-elected (2008) Planning Group was to write Standing Rules to help us conduct orderly meetings where everyone is treated courteously.

Your Community Plan Subcommittee has been hard at work researching and writing a comprehensive Potrero Draft Community Plan as part of the County General Plan Update.

This Community Plan will influence how the County views future development and land use in and around our community.

Chair-Janet Warren, Billy Crawley, Christina Dillon, Carl Meyer, Robin Simmons, Barbara Chamberlain, Jan Hedlun and everyone who responded to our Community Survey have all contributed significantly  to this important document.

The Potrero Draft Community Plan was submitted to the County DPLU on October 31, 2008.  Click here to view the Draft Potrero Community Plan.  A copy is available at the Potrero Library.
ON THE ROAD AGAIN

Circulation Subcommitee Chair, Terry Stephens and Kit Giguerre have been focusing on the safety of Potrero residents.

Recently the County Public Works Dept. cleared and graded the pedestrian area along Potrero Valley Road, making it safer for our kids to walk to school.

They are currently working with the County on establishing and maintaining a second emergency access/egress road between Potrero Valley Road and Harris Ranch Road.
Thanks Terry, Kit and everyone on the Circulation Subcommittee!
HAPPY TRAILS!

Billy Crawley, Chair of the Potrero Trails Subcommittee, Christina Dillon, Dawn Johnson and Tina Brown-McCunney deserve a "shout out" for all their effort in mapping out the various, specific trail options for Potrero.

Working under a deadline to submit our Trail Plan to the Parks & Recreation Trails Program, they created a comprehensive trail map that will be used for years to come as we increase the number of designated equestrian trails in Potrero.

Can you think of a better way to preserve and protect our open space?
